West Michigan Academy of Arts and Academics (WMAAA) successfully completed its twelfth year of operation during the 2007-2008 academic year. The Academy served students in Preschool through eighth grade.
WMAAA prides itself in having a strong academic program that is integrated with and reinforced through the arts. Our curriculum promotes academic excellence for all students in mathematics, reading, language arts, social studies, science, drama, dance, instrumental music, vocal music, and visual art. Our computer laboratory allows teachers to integrate technology with classroom instructional materials.
WMAAA has an excellent character education program for Kindergarten through eighth grade students. Staff members teach and model exemplary character qualities such as honesty, integrity, respect, courage patience and persistence.
The WMAAA Arts Program continues to be a major thrust of this school. All students have the opportunity to explore and participate in classes, activities, and out-of-school programs designed to increase their awareness and appreciation of the fine and performing arts.
