At West Michigan Academy of Arts & Academics, we recognize and adapt to students' different styles of learning and demonstration of their knowledge. WMAAA was recognized as a top 10 educational institution for best practices in arts education by ArtServe Michigan, an independent arts advocacy organization. The Academy also received the Summit Award for "Best Charter School in Michigan" by the Michigan Association of Public School Academies.
