Tips for Success
- Know your math facts! If you have not yet memorized your multiplication and division facts, take a few minutes each day to practice.
- Do your homework. Practicing each new concept every night will help you to better understand and remember.
- Take good notes. Keeping a notebook of notes that you can refer back to is a great learning tool.
- Study for quizzes and tests by doing a few problems from each concept. Use the chapter review or extra practice problems from the back of the book.
- Pay attention and ask questions in class. Make sure you understand what to do before you go home each day; don't let your questions build up.
