7th grade: We'll begin the year with Jerry Spinelli books, which will take us into late October.
8th grade: We'll begin this year with historical fiction, focusing on the American Revolution. Students will have 3 books to choose from. Look for more information coming soon!
Welcome to WMAAA! We're excited about this 2011-2012 school year - it will be a wonderful time of growth for your student!
We all use language to connect with, interact with and present ourselves to the world. Through writing and speaking we display our knowledge and talents; through reading we explore and enjoy our world and beyond. Middle School students will expand their skills and find satisfaction in reading and writing various genre.
Students approach these skills through specific instruction and individual practice. Instruction is guided by the state of Michigan's curriculum as well as a passion for the task of instilling in students these skills so vital to their success.
