My name is Kendra Streng. I grew up in Grand Haven and graduated from Grand Haven High School. After graduating from high school I attended Western Michigan University earning a degree in elementary education with math, science, and integrated creative arts minors. I am also certified to teach middle school science and early childhood classes. I am proud to say that this summer I completed my master’s degree in reading. 

I now reside in Grand Haven with my husband, Tom, 5 year old son, Jackson and 3 year old son, Adam, and 10 month old son, Jude. When I am not in school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I also enjoy the arts. Playing the piano and photography are two of my stress relievers! This is my eighth year teaching at WMAAA. My first three years at the academy were spent teaching fourth grade (which I loved). I look forward to an exciting year and can’t wait to get to know you and your child this year.
