After staying home to raise my 4 children, I returned to teaching in 1999. I took the 6th grade teaching position at the Academy in 2001 and have enjoyed being here every since.

Educational Background: B.A. and B.S. from Calvin College; Graduate work at Western Michigan University.

Family: I married my high school sweetheart in 1977 and together we raised 4 children. They are all adults now and successfully journeying in life.

Hobbies: I love to read, walk in the woods and spend time with my family.
