Steph Cionca Education: B.A. in Fine Arts with a focus in ceramic sculpture from Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan M.Ed. with a focus in curriculum development and arts integration from Lesley University, Cambridge, Massachusetts Experience: I have worked at my dream job as the visual art teacher at West Michigan Academy of Arts and Academics since 2006. Before that I taught visual art at the elementary and junior high school level in Oregon. Family: I grew up in the Detroit area where I fed my passion for art with frequent trips to the amazing Detroit Institute of Arts. I vacationed on lake Michigan for years, and love it dearly. I feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful community. Hobbies: I love to play with my pets, watch hockey, go to the beach, read, make art, sew, listen to great music, hike, putts in the garden, kayak and camp (my favorite place to play outside is in the Red River Gorge in Kentucky). |
